Marking, assessment, evaluation, administration, departmental promotions and course design. 3. Writing research papers, joining seminars and publishing papers. 4. Designing and delivering weekend and summer-school motivational courses. 5. University entrance examination studentâs intake interviewer and assessor. 6. Writing scripts and supervising yearly English Graduation Plays, including âMean Girlsâ, âAll in the Familyâ, âFawlty Towersâ, âTwelfth Nightâ, âOedipus Rexâ, and âBacchae to the Futureâ. 7. Provide counselling and caring role for both Taiwanese and Chinese exchange students. 8. Supervised and tutored ISUâs entrants to International English Speech Competitions.

1. In 1985, I joined St. Helens Councilâs working skills training programme, and was hired as an Activity Tutor to work in Day Centres, including the following: Haven Centre, Gamble Institute, Newton College, Earlestown Opportunities Group, Kershaw Centre, Park Road Library, Pilkington Centre, Lord Street, St. Helens Library, Ranhill Library and Moss Bank Library, etc. (1-year contract) 2. In 1986, I was hired by Community Leisure (council-run provision of adult education and leisure classes) and continued teaching at the above list of places as an Art Teacher for an additional 7 years. 3. Also taught with WEA (Workers Education Association) for weekend art classes, since 1987, for 7 years. 4. I became an independent Art Teacher, teaching privately by renting classrooms at numerous venues. 5. MOCF organisation came along in 1996 and took over my private art classes, I was hired by MOCF for 2 years until I decided to go to Taiwan to begin my overseas teaching. 6. Taught subjects included: Oil Painting, Water Colour Painting, Arts & Crafts, Drawing, Design, Making Posters, Activities, Art Exhibitions, Renaissance Painting Technique, etc.
