I was born and grew up near to Cambridge, England. I have a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Cambridge in Social and Political Sciences. I also have a Juris Doctor - a graduate degree in law - from Cardozo Law School in New York. I have 5 years of business and legal experience in a number of difference capacities. I specialise in teaching legal and business English. I currently work in the legal field and have limited availability. We can cover many topics, including advertising, interviewing, small talk, legal conventions business writing and business grammar. I am fully TEFL certified, including advanced units in teaching online / telephone and business English. I have taught English for 4 years, to classes, in person tutoring, and online. I have taught all levels, and from the ages of 3 to 70. I use a variety of teaching resources, including videos, texts, articles, audio recordings, visuals and can set homework assignments if you would like. I have been learning Portuguese for three years and I know the difficulties in learning a new language. Building confidence is extremely important. I create a comfortable atmosphere to make mistakes and like to have fun and enjoyable lessons. I love traveling, and meeting new people. This is something I love about teaching English. My interests also include photography, drawing, painting, singing and traveling. I offer both legal and business English lessons. The lessons will be tailored to your needs.
