Today’s lesson was really good. We spent time chatting and catching up while learning new vocabulary, especially about skincare and cosmetics. Michelle is a great teacher and explains things clearly, which makes learning enjoyable.

Amazing teacher, she's very patient and helps tailor sentences and lessons towards your needs. She shows the academic way of saying things for reference but teaches you the vocabulary and lingo to talk like a native Cantonese speaker. It was my 5 year old daughter's first class. She felt comfortable with Emma. Emma was easy to talk to and kind. She explained the course to me and what our goals were for my daughter. My daughter said yes when I asked her if she wanted to take another class with Ms. Emma =)

Today I had my first full lesson with Vincy, and I was very pleased by how it went! Vincy prepared for the class thoroughly, she was ready to gently correct my mistakes and took time to explain to me how to certain phrases work. This class stretched my vocabulary in a good way. Ms.Michelle reached out and asked about my child's interest to incorporate it i to her lessons! We ran into a scheduling issue since I'm located in the US and Michelle was able to help me manually set up my schedule to ensure a smooth booking. My son is eager to meet with her each class.

Today was my first 50 mins class with Emma after our trial class last week. After reviewing the 6 tones of Cantonese, Emma guided me to introduce myself using my own words. We walked through simple but important phrases to pronounce correctly, such as advertising (gwong2 gou3), logo design (biu1 ji3 chit3 gai3) and industry (hong4 yip6). I'm looking forward to the next class already!

Emma is really sweet, patient and considerate. After understanding my purpose of learning this language, she encourages me to speak more, even though I speak awful Canto. She uses self-made and customized materials to make sure they meet the students' needs.

Cantonese and Mandarin pretty much share the same grammer, the main thing that's different is the pronunciation and tones. So I want to learn Cantonese pronunciation in a more structured way. That way I can actually get the hang of it quicker and understand people when they talk, instead of just cramming random words or sentences.

The teacher is fluent in both Chinese and English, has a very pleasant voice, and prepares the materials with great care. The lessons include Taiwanese pinyin, English, and Cantonese pronunciation, which makes learning very convenient! ʕ๑•ω•ฅʔ＊

Alex is always very prompt in answering questions offline. His quick responses make learning Cantonese much smoother and encourage active participation. I really appreciate his dedication and timely support.
