I had a very enjoyable class with Teacher Chloe today. Class always starts with me being asked questions related to topics I have learned previously, but are also questions/answers that may come up in greetings with people. This is good repetition that helps me retain information and practice listening and speaking. I, of course, enjoyed the homework review of describing my family member using the vocabulary and grammars I have learned. I also listened to Teacher Chloe describe a photo and had to answer questions about her description. I love activities that help me see how much I have learned by recalling what I have heard. Today, I also learned a little more about the Chinese language/dialects. This is so interesting to me so I very much like when Teacher Chloe finds ways to incorporate culture topics. Looking forward to my next class!

I love the teacher's style. I'm learning Chinese after my job, and the lesson is not giving me lots of stresses and not very hard. This is why I can keep taking the lesson. I think it is very important to make me be interested to learn Chinese.

Teacher Jiji was a great teacher who analyzes your skill level during the trial and can tailor to your goals/specific needs. She can explain theories well and makes sure the student (me) understands clearly.

The class has an excellent structure! I really liked everything, from the casual warm up in the beginning, to practicing new grammar and vocabulary, and having had the opportunity to clarify any open questions. Risa is extremely motivated and has the ability to explain new concepts very well!

Yuni is simply the best Mandarin teacher I've had. Her patience is incredible, and she has a real gift for making you feel confident while still keeping you on your toes — she'll always gently point out mistakes so you actually improve. She adapts every lesson to fit your level and goals, which makes such a difference. Highly, highly recommend her to anyone serious about learning Mandarin!

I always love having classes with Ariel she helps me express myself, and give me a lot of opportunities to make sentences with the new vocabulary and sentence structures which helps me to feel more confident speaking. Thank you Ariel :D

Learned plenty of new vocab today; mu` guā, gŭo zhī, táng gŭo, shŏu biăo, etc.. There were several times I pronounced the tones wrongly, which Vivian always corrected me. I guess I have to practice more.

My son was born in South Africa and now lives in Dubai. Without grandparents nearby and with both my husband and me not being particularly strict about speaking Mandarin at home, it has been challenging for him to maintain and develop his Mandarin language skills. Emmett has now completed 30 lessons with Eva, and we could not be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Eva has created a positive and engaging learning environment that makes Mandarin enjoyable rather than a chore. Emmett genuinely looks forward to his weekly lessons and never complains about attending—something that speaks volumes in itself. What we appreciate most is Eva’s ability to make each lesson light, interactive, and fun while still ensuring meaningful progress. She takes the time to understand Emmett’s strengths, interests, and learning style, tailoring her lessons to suit his individual needs. Her patience, encouragement, and creativity have helped build not only his language skills but also his confidence in using Mandarin. Yes, nice way to stroll around and review related characters, rules and idioms which I never really got before as I just zoomed through HSK1 and 2 on my own to get quickly minimal fuel to be able to get this Chinese learning car going somewhere !

I found the teaching atmosphere to be excellent. I speak a little Chinese, so communicating with the teacher was very relaxed and felt like having a conversation. The teacher also adapted the teaching materials to suit the different needs of each student.

For a trial lesson, she came well prepared with questions in advance and tailored the lesson to my needs. She helped me practice expressions that are exactly what I need in my daily life right now. I would love to continue learning with her long-term😊

I enjoyed this class. I really enjoyed the way Mrs. Chloe ensures that her students interact with the class and encourages the students to go beyond their speaking, writing, and reading abilities in Chinese. For example, we both went over the corrections to my homework and had me reiterate with the corrections, but without looking at or reading the notes! Additionally, I watched a video of a person speaking, so I had to learn to listen, even though the person was talking so fast. It was so interesting because after all the lessons I've had with Mrs. Chloe, she has covered most of the sentence structures used in the video, and I was able to understand what the person was talking about and notice the details that the person in the video was mostly referring to.

Erin is a wonderful, patient and cheerful teacher. She is very professional and guides me through various kinds of topics. Every lesson with Erin is fun, I learn a lot new words, how to structure my sentences and except of that, because Erin has a profound knowledge about Chinese history, literature and culture, I learn a lot about China and we can talk about so many topics! I definitely recommend this teacher, she is gives you all of her care and attention and your Chinese will improve quickly under her guidance. 谢谢老师! <3

Ms. Sherry is very patient and encouraging. She customizes each lesson to cater to my son's special needs and provides feedbacks after each lesson. I highly recommend her to any students!

Teacher Qiqi has been very patience with Sebastian with his learning. She also prepare him with material suitable for his levels, and has been able to adjust the focus of the teaching per our request.

Teacher Seal is so kind, funny and patient. She models and explains new vocabulary and expressions clearly and slowly, and reviews all of the material you've learnt so that it sticks in your memory. She makes corrections and explains all of the meanings. As she is multilingual, she can explain in a convenient and accessible way. I feel more confident with my mandarin now so thank you!! I highly recommend Seal teacher.

Gabriel was fun to talk to and direct in his methods, he assessed my level from the get-go and from there adjusted to what I knew and started immediately to help me practice my vocabulary along with grammar. All in all a very effective trial class with the amount of push to help me move forward!
